Draw a red line around the area that was inclded in the Louisiana Purchase. Highlight and label the Mississppi, Ohio, Missouri, Snake, and Colombia rivers in blue. Highlight and label the Rocky and Cascade mountains in yellow. Put a star and label Washington, D.C. Mark the starting point of the expedition and label it St. Louis. Mark the spots were they spent the winters, Fort Mandan and Fort Clatsap, and label them. In what is now the state of South Dakota, write write “SIOUX” Write Shoshone in southern Idaho.
