Physical Features of India

Highlight the rivers in blue and write the names of water features in blue: Indian Ocean, Ganges River, Indus River, Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea.

Highlight the Thar Desert in yellow or orange and label it.

Color the fertile farmland green.

Using a dark color draw the Deccan Plateau and label it.

Draw in the 4 mountain ranges and label them.

Mark the spot and label 3 large cities in India.

Draw blue arrows to show the direction of the wet mansoon. When does 80% of the rain fall?

Write Sri Lanka and Ceylon and put arrows to show their locations.
