9th Grade: The French Revolution

The French Revolution started in 1789, what were some of the causes? What inspired it?

Be ready for a quiz on the geography of France. What are the natural boarders of France? What land forms effect French food, culture, wars and history? What are the major cities?

Be thinking about an aspect of the French Revolution that is of special interest to you, research it and be ready to present to class on January 22, 2013. You may pick a person like King Louis XVI, Marie Antoinette, Jean-Paul Marat, Maximilien Robespierre, the Duke of Wellington, or Napoleon, or maybe an event like the fall of the Bastille, the Reign of Terror, or the rise of the Paris Commune, or perhaps a place like Versailles or Waterloo. You may also research an aspect of the culture or society of that time.
